I’m gonna be real honest you guys: I’m surprising myself by getting my act together and actually blogging. It may not be much, but I really do enjoy this space of mine and have missed it tremendously the past few months years. Now that I’m not miserably pregnant and we are semi-getting the hang of parenthood, I have a little bit of free time that I’ve been trying to designate towards this blog. Mountain Getaway 2016: Lake Lure
Growing up, my grandparents and great-grandparents lived in the mountains of NC and every Christmas my family would make the trek up there to spend some time with them. After my great-grandparents passed away, my grandparents moved to SC to be closer to family and the trips, obviously, stopped. So this year, my dad decided that he wanted to start the tradition afresh and take a few days to head back to the mountains, to end our year with some quality family time and start the new year off rejuvenated. Christmas 2016 Part 2
Last week, I shared the first of our Christmas celebrations and I’m back today to share the rest of our Christmases. Pretty much the whole weekend before, starting on Thursday, we had several different celebrations between my family and Cory’s. It was so much fun to get to share the magic of Christmas with our sweet girl with our families! And I can’t forget the Christmas outfits…so much fun!
