Weekending
It’s been a while {like a couple of weeks} since Cory and I finished our last binge sesh on Netflix and that all changed this weekend with my discovery of Homeland. I’ve been watching on my phone, which makes the obsession so much worse because, literally, I can take it with me wherever I go…laying in bed, the bath, riding in the car, at dinner…
Just kidding. Maybe.
As you can imagine, not a lot happened this weekend besides watching Homeland. That happened a lot.
On Friday, I had to drive the Ranger Danger, otherwise known as “my brother’s 20 year-old truck that has no heat”. Since we sold both of Cory’s cars last weekend, he had been driving John’s truck {while John’s away at AIT} until he could find a new one. Well, on Friday, Cory headed down to Atlanta to pick up his new truck and wasn’t sure the ‘ole Ranger Danger would make it so we swapped for the day. Turns out, it was one of the coldest mornings we’ve had in SC. Let’s just say it was cold, cold drive to work.
Friday night is our designated cheat meal {let’s be real though, we cheated all weekend} and all week, I wanted a greasy cheeseburger and fries. We definitely satisfied that craving on Friday night!
After sleeping in a little on Saturday, we finally got up and got going and headed to look for some new gym clothes. T.J. Maxx was the definite winner. We made a couple other stops before grabbing dinner and headed home for the night.
Y’all, I have a confession. I stayed up till 4:00 am watching Homeland. What is wrong with me???
Needless to say, Sunday was rough! Cory and I had to present about our trip to Rwanda at a local church and I could hardly keep my eyes open. I decided to take a nap before our women’s ministry Sunday afternoon and you wanna know what I did? I laid on the couch and watched more Homeland.
I have a lot I need to get done today…laundry, gym, grocery store, blogging and all I feel like doing is watching more Homeland.
I think I have a serious problem.

My husband LOVES Homeland! I’ve never watched but I totally understand a Netflix obsession. We are obsessed with the blacklist on Netflix right now! TJ Maxx is the bomb dot com for work out clothes (and let’s me honest in general).

Oh my gosh, Corey use to have a ranger too and called it danger ranger, that is too funny!
I’ve never seen Homeland but apparently it’s good so I’ll have to add that to my list of shows I need to binge watch.
I’m glad you were able to find a bunch of clothes at TJ Maxx, hope you’re having a good week!

I’ve never watched Homeland before, but now you have me seriously thinking about it. Justin and I binge watch on Netflix all the time. It is mostly my doing though. Okay, all of my doing. That said, I get over it as soon as I have seen every episode of whatever we are watching and then wait a few weeks before starting back up again! :)
