Week 19 Bumpdate
Happy Wednesday bumpdate, y’all. I really haven’t meant to only blog about pregnancy related stuff recently but I haven’t had any motivation to blog more often. I do have a few Rwanda post that are about 75% done but it’s kind of emotional every time I look at them, knowing I won’t be returning this year.
How Far Along: 19 weeks, 4 days
Size of Baby: A mango and 6 inches long! According to our appointment on Monday, Hot Pie weighs 12 oz and is in the 58th percentile in size.
Gender: It’s a sweet girl! Read all about our gender reveal party here!
Movement: We have one very active girl! I feel her move a good bit and knew I was feeling some of the movement on the outside. Cory was convinced I just had gas. Well, Sunday evening we were laying on the couch and she kept kicking in the same place. I told Cory to see if he could come feel and sure enough she kicked hard enough for him to feel it! His face when he felt it was priceless.
Sleep: I’ve been really, really tired the past week or so, so I’ve slept really, really hard. Like asleep before my head hits the pillow.
Workouts: Yes! I worked out!!! I did a Zumba class Saturday morning, walked around Buy Buy Baby for about 4 hours registering on Monday and plan on doing Zumba again tonight. Hopefully, I can keep a schedule of doing Zumba or Yoga 2-3 times a week.
Maternity Clothes: Oh yeah! I can still wear my non-maternity shirts but haven’t been in a regular pair of pants in a few weeks.
Weight Gain: 7lbs according to my doctor on Monday and she was good with that.
Symptoms: Last week I mentioned issues with my kidneys and I had another really painful episode Wednesday night. The doctor said to call if it happened again, so I did on Thursday morning and they scheduled an ultrasound on my kidneys for Friday. I had it done and I was free of kidney stones. I haven’t had any more issues so I’m really praying that I passed it on Wednesday night.
Cravings/Aversions: Anything fruit related…fruit chews {like ridiculous amounts}, fruit smoothies, actual fruit. I had a smoothie for breakfast on the way to the doctor on Monday and Hot Pie was really feeling it because she was moving around like crazy!
Missing Most: I’ve notice that if I eat too much, I’m having a really hard time catching a deep breathe and just feeling really uncomfortable. I’ve really been trying to stop myself before I get to this point but I already miss just being comfortable.
Nursery: We registered after my appointment on Monday and were planning on taking our crib home with us but it wouldn’t fit in my car. I don’t know why we didn’t drive the truck!
Labor Signs: No! Thank you, Jesus.
Belly Button In or Out? Still in but it’s getting really flat. I suspect it will be out before long.
Wedding Rings On or Off? On
Hubby: He’s still just been the greatest. He often talks about how fun going through all this is and it just melts my heart. I wish I had filmed his face the first time he felt her move. So, so sweet!
Best Part of the Week: Of course, getting to see our girl again and getting a great report for her 20 week anatomy scan. And registering, even though I wore the wrong shoes, my feet were killing me and we didn’t get to bring her crib home, I’m glad to have it over with!
Can’t Wait For: The countdown is on for our babymoon! Cory and I both can’t wait to have a few days to relax! T-minus 3 weeks!

Did they say if there is anything you can do so you dont get any more stones? Like something that you’re drinking – or not drinking? I so hate you are having that pain to deal with.

Looking good girl! Yay for getting your registry done. I definitely had to start eating less and more often during pregnancy to avoid feeling awful! It’s not fun!

So glad you are feeling better! Now you can enjoy feeling your sweet baby girl. It is so amazing to feel your sweet baby, but when your husband feels them move, it really does make it even better.
I can not wait to see your nursery! I know it will be absolutely adorable.
