Thank You Postcard

I do believe that almost every one has received our thank-you cards (at least I hope so!), so I’m sharing them with you guys today!

Every year, we send out support letters for our trip to Rwanda and we like to send a thank-you note for each donation that Cory and I receive personally. Barnabas X sends one out at the end of the year but we think a simple “thank you” goes a long way. In the past, we have hand-written each thank-you note and they were sent out before our trip. But this year, proved to be more than we could handle preparing for Cory to be gone a full month, and they just didn’t get done in time.

Once we returned, I knew we had to buckle down and start on them when a friend from work (Thanks for the idea, Cindy!) suggested we do a thank-you postcard with pictures to help us get them out quicker. Not having to hand write 40+ notes?

Yes, please!

Plus, it gives our sponsors a tiny glimpse of our trip and a picture to hang on their fridge and pray over every time they see it!

So, I headed to Google to see who had a photo post card and I found this cute design on Tiny Prints. The hardest part about designing this card was narrowing it down to only five pictures to include. The whole process was simple, down to designing the card, ordering the card, and even reordering when I underestimated how many we needed.

We included a simple note of thanks on the back, filled the addresses in and they were in the mailbox as quickly as we received them.

I was really impressed with the quality of the postcards. The pictures were clear and they were very sturdy! TinyPrints didn’t send these to me for free and they are not paying me to say this, I just really enjoyed ordering from them and will definitely be using them again!
