    Cheers to 8 Years!

Back in September, Cory and I celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary and this is the first year since, gosh, 2014 that we weren’t either in Rwanda or gearing up to leave for Rwanda. There is the exception of 2016 (the year Baker was born) but we had a newborn baby and I’m fairly certain there wasn’t much of a celebration that year as we were knee deep in breast pumps, sleepless nights, and dirty diapers. On this day, five years ago,  with my dad by my side, I walked down the aisle and vowed to do life with my sweet boy. The best decision I ever made was to walk by Cory’s side. We’ve definitely had our moments but I’m so grateful to be able to say that we’ve had an “easy” marriage (Cory may have a different story). After getting married, not much changed except the fact that we lived together and I count that as a blessing. I…

10 Things I Love About My Husband

Three years ago today, I was getting ready to say “I do” to my best friend and partner in life. I often wonder why I was blessed with such a loving, caring, man of God who strives every day to make me happy. I am so thankful to have a husband that works hard to provide for his family-financially and spiritually. Thinking back to this day three years ago, I never imagined that I could love Cory more but our love has changed in the best ways possible and continues to grow each and every day. Being our anniversary and all, I figured there’s no better day to share 10…
