St. Patrick’s Day
Happy St. Patty’s Day, y’all!
As you can probably tell, we aren’t big on celebrating St. Patrick’s Day even though I’m pretty sure Sloan is a very Irish name. Last year, Cory {who loves all things Irish} played a show complete with the Irish songs and Irish accent. He was in Heaven.
Isn’t he a cutie?
This past weekend was so busy that we really didn’t have the time or desire to even go to our favorite Irish pub, McGee’s. And since it’s a Monday and we are pretty much an old married couple, I doubt we will make it out anywhere tonight.
I’m not a completely party pooper though. I do have on green today. You better believe I wasn’t going to run the risk of getting pinched on a rainy Monday. And Jenni @ Frankly My Dear shared this lovely Irish blessing that I wanted to share too.

I feel like only my husband, the history buff, would actually know the history of St. Patrick’s Day. Hope you have a great one!

Hi Paige! Love the irish blessing. And the quote about the U.S. drunkenly celebrating a saint. Ha!
Have a great week,

AH! Me too! Before I met my husband, Sloane was on the top of my list but I could never peg a child with the name Sloane Sloan.
