    Ringing in 2014!

Cory and I rang in 2014 with awesome friends, lots of good food, a warm bonfire, sparklers, horns & confetti and a toast at midnight. What better way to start a new year? In case you missed it, you can see all my New Year’s Eve Party Decor here. Jessica and I have a New Year tradition which simply is to spend it together. Five on Friday

Er, Five on Saturday. If we’re gonna be technical about it. Sometimes life happens. And life definitely happened this week. Next year, I’ll plan better. Maybe. I found this idea on Pinterest but unfortunately I forgot to pin it. If you know the original, I’d love to have it so I can give credit where…

    8 degrees, y’all.

You can see that, right? No, you’re not mistaken. When I got in my car this morning, it was 8 degrees. And I live in South Carolina! I’ve never experienced this cold of weather.  To make this chilly morning a little better, I decided to break in my new mug that Gracie got me for Christmas. Isn’t it cute? We knew we were in for cold weather, so we stocked up on firewood last night and got us a warm fire burning, just in case we lost power. Thank goodness we didn’t but much of our county did. I can’t think of anything I enjoy more than cuddling with my…
