    I’m sure that we are all aware of the negative perception placed on social media and we’ve all fallen into the trap that is Facebook. You know what I’m talking about, right?     Five on Friday

    linked with darci ONE. The best part of my week was definitely the snow. I’m like a kid again when they call for snow and this past week, I wasn’t disappointed. It started on Tuesday afternoon so we got to go home early from work and shortly after getting home, my front yard was covered. I’m not sure how anyone can see something as beautiful as a fresh blanket of fluffy white snow and not believe it God. His creations are perfect and wonderful.

    Snow Day

    Growing up in South Carolina, I learned to NEVER get my hopes up for snow.  I was always the kid that would procrastinate on my homework or studying for a test because I was certain we would get snow and school would be canceled. And it never was. So when the news started reporting on Monday {which was almost 70 degrees} that we would get snow on Tuesday, I just blew it off.     I mentioned on Friday that my nieces birthday was this past weekend. She was supposed to have a party Saturday evening but my sister tested positive for the flu and they thought Taylor might have had it too so we had to cancel her party. After we got home from snow tubing {which was a blast}, my mom called to say she was going to take her presents to her so I asked if she would take mine too.
