Happy Birthday, Mom!
The past five days have been a wild ride full of emotion, hair pulling, sleepless nights and lots of DIY but I will be back to tell you ALL about it later this week. Tuesday Tea: Beggin’ for Money
Well, not really beggin’ but we kinda are. If you’ve followed this little blog of mine since last year, you may already know that Cory and I are going to Africa this summer. Last summer, Cory spent two weeks in Rwanda and we will be heading back in June. I was heartbroken when I couldn’t go last year and swore to myself I wouldn’t stay home again. Gracie’s Party at Chuck E. Cheese
The past couple years, Gracie has had the “big” party with friends from school and church but this year my Mom wanted to keep it smaller. When she asked Gracie what she wanted to do, Gracie said she wanted to go to Chuck E. Cheese. Really? Chuck E. Cheese? She had never been and a friend at school had told her about it so Mom planned her party there this past Friday. Word of advice…don’t go to Chuck E, Cheese on Friday night. Happy Friday, y’all! Sorry I’ve been MIA this week. I tried to come up with a good excuse but the only one I can come up with is I’ve been a little under the weather with some kind of cold. I almost always get sick when the weather changes and since it went from snow last week to 70 degrees this week, it was inevitable.
