Our House Throughout the Years | Kitchen & Dining Room
Maybe this is more common than I think, but I feel like our house has been through so many different phases since we moved in five short years ago. With the kitchen torn apart, the dining room moving and the whole paint scheme {and a lot of our decor} changing, I thought it would be a good time to start a little series documenting all the different looks our house has had. Today, I’m starting off with the kitchen & dining room area but that also included the front entryway hallway off the front door. Keep in mind, our old kitchen {so glad I can say that!} was in an…
Weekending | Kitchen Reno Free
How in the world is our weekend already over? Our weekend was spent doing things that didn’t involve our kitchen renovation {for the most part} and it was very much needed. After a very late night on Friday, we finally finished painting that ceiling! And by we, I mean Cory cause I crashed around 1:00 am and I’m not even sure what time he came to bed. So glad that’s out of the way! We had plans to meet Allen and Tammie at 11 Saturday morning and I may have heard angels sing when they called and told us not to rush. Which was a good thing considering I was…

It wouldn’t be as hard if we didn’t have cathedral ceilings but it’s made for a very tedious process. Hopefully, we’ll finish up tonight because we’ve got a weekend full of non-kitchen reno activities before the floor guys start on Monday! Since all…
How To Make Curtains
A few months ago, I asked y’all for help deciding on a curtain color for our bedroom and I had a reader suggest going with another pop color like coral. And like the next week, seriously, I found the most perfect coral tray for our bedroom at none other than Target. I loved the look of the coral with the aqua dresser and decided to try and find some coral curtains to match. But much like gray, coral is a tricky color and just like lamps, curtains are expensive. I was not about to spend $100+ on four curtain panels for our room so I turned to Pinterest and learned…
