Home Updates- Update!
Happy Tuesday, my friends! Today is a big day for the Sloans because after months of kitchen renovations, we are finally getting our countertops in. To say I’m excited would be a huge understatement. I’m so tired of washing dishes in the bathtub and it’s even worse now that we are cooking and have big pots and pans. After today, we will only have a few minor things left like installing molding and touching up paint before we are dunzo {with the kitchen, that is}! Here’s a little sneak peek fory’all! I haven’t even seen it in person yet but I just couldn’t wait to share it with you guys!

You guys, I’m an aunt…again! On June 18th, Carson Wesley made his surprise appearance, almost three weeks early. And we are absolutely smitten! Proud {and nervous} papa coming out to tell us he was here. He’s a little guy weighing in at 6 lbs and 3 oz and was 19 inches long. Fireplace Makeover
WE PAINTED OUR FIREPLACE! Turns out, painting brick, or the act of getting rid of ugly brick, is pretty addicting and after we painted the exterior of our house, I wanted to paint ALL. THE. BRICK. Because if you remember correctly, this is what our fireplace looked like.
