Monthly Goals: April
Happy Monday, y’all! It’s raining like crazy here today but I don’t mind one bit. Rain down and wash this nasty pollen away! I’m sure it helps that I’m home today {after 3 weeks of working on Monday} and this rain gives me the perfect excuse to stay home, work on my blog and attempt to sew some pillow covers with the fabric I got this weekend. I’ll keep you updated on how that one goes.
I’m sure y’all have seen these monthly goals floating around blogland and I’m pretty late in the game {of course} but I’m hopping on the bandwagon in hopes of creating some accountability for myself. If I don’t write them down, I will never stick with them. So here are a few things I’d like to accomplish in April.
1. Spend more time in prayer.
2. Go through my closet and get rid of clothes that I don’t wear anymore. Swap out summer/winter clothes.
3. Go through our office/music room/storage room. Make a donation pile and yard sale pile and PURGE. Get rid of anything we don’t need especially any home decorations I’m no longer using.
4. Keep better records of our cash envelopes. Stop spending from them and not writing it down!
5. Get back to planning a menu, going to the grocery store and cooking from the menu.
6. Drink more water.
7. Finish my blog calendar for April and May. Be more organized with my blog!
8. Take my puppies on more walks…we have a perfect neighborhood to walk in, pretty weather and we all need the exercise.
Unintentionally, there’s a theme with my goals for April and that’s to get more ORGANIZED. March was crazy busy and I felt like it’s left me, my blog and my house one hot mess. I’m praying April will be a month of rest and getting everything back on track.

I think April sounds like a great time to get more organized! It kinda fits with the theme of Spring cleaning anyway!
Paige Sloan
I didn’t think about it that way but it does!

This is such a great list! THere’s something so refreshing about spring and starting “fresh”, we did a bit of spring cleaning around our house this weekend, and while it’s definitely not my favorite thing to do, it feels so good to get rid of things we don’t use/need!

I agree. We’ve got it planned to do this weekend and I know I’ll feel better after it’s done but I’m really dreading doing it!

I am so looking forward to changing my closet to throw some things out.. NOT looking forward to seeing how things don’t fit anymore. YIKES!

I have a love/hate relationship with this because I’m ready for spring clothes but I also have way less spring clothes than winter. My closet always feels so empty after I do it.
