Monday + A Giveway
It’s a bittersweet Monday, y’all.
My baby brothers are shipping out today for basic training. I’m an emotional personal, y’all and no matter what we’ve been through the past couple years, all I can see are those chubby 3 year old faces leaving for the National Guard. You better believe I’m gonna be a hot mess telling them goodbye.
I pray that God will wrap his arms around them both {they will be separated for the first time} and protect them and provide the comfort they need over the next 10 weeks.
I pray that it’s not too rough on them and for God to give them the strength, mentally and physically, to complete basic training successfully. I pray that when the days get so hard they feel like giving up, the nights get lonely or they feel completely out of their comfort zone that they’ll turn to You, God. I pray that they will remember who they are and who they represent as they begin this journey on a new career path and they’ll take full advantage of every single opportunity presented to them over the next couple years.
I pray that we can be there to encourage them through prayers and for an open line of communication so we know specifically what to pray for. But most of all, I pray that they know, without a shadow of a doubt, how much we love them and how incredibly proud we are of them for making this choice to serve their country.
Other than sweet notes from an 8 year old, what better way to cheer up this bittersweet Monday than with a giveaway?
This giveaway will be live from 12:00am EST on October 20th through 12:00am on October 27th. Open to US residents only. All entries are verified. Winner will be contacted via email and has 48 hours to respond and claim prize or a new winner will be randomly chosen by the Rafflecopter.

As cliche as it sounds, it went by so quickly! Guess they will always be my baby brothers, though! Praying it will be an incredible opportunity for them!

Oh gosh… that’s gotta be hard. That’s where you have faith God is protecting them & you send them into their own life adventure.
