Interview with the Mr.

After seeing this little interview on a few of my favorite blogs (Katie Elizabeth, The Modern Tulip, Life Could Be a Dream), I decided I had to interview my sweet husband, Cory. I bugged him all weekend and finally had a chance to sit down with him last night for his first interview (but not his first appearance) on Reasons to Come Home!

Me: What is the name of my blog?
C: Reasons to Come Home
Me: What do I typically write about?
C: The dogs. The dogs and whatever we’ve been up to. And sometimes a link up. And you do a Five on Friday every Friday.
Me: What’s a popular fashion item for women right now?
C:  Big shirts with tights.
Me: What’s the best place to shop for women?
C: That’s hard because I only know how to base it off of you. Old Navy.
Me: What do you know about Pinterest?
C: I have a Pinterest. I know how to use it.
Me: What’s a Hunter wellie?
C: A Hunter wellie? A boot.
Me: What does OOTD stand for?
C: Outfit of the day. I got like an A so far.
Me: What is our favorite thing to do together?
C: {long pause} Probably watch whole series of TV shows that we both like.

Me: Am I good about staying on budget?
C: Yes.

Me: What’s the Pantone color of the year for 2014?
C: Beige.
Me: It’s actually radiant orchid.
C: Okay. Was that a question? Were you just supposed to see how I reacted?
Me: What do women keep in their purse?
C: Money, tampons, lip gloss, a brush, ear buds, sunglasses, gum and anything else they could possibly foresee needing in any possible situation.
Me: What do I do when I’m home alone?
C: Watch TV. Sometimes you blog while you’re watching TV. And sometimes you make things while you’re watching TV.
Me: And what do you do when you’re home alone?
C: Clean.
Me: What’s my favorite accessory?
C: Bracelets.
I must add that I hardly ever wear bracelets.
Me: What’s an acceptable amount to spend on a makeup item?
C: $60.00
Me: $60.00?
C: That’s normally what you spend when we go to Ulta.
Me: On one makeup item.
C: Oh, $5.00.
Not sure how that math adds up in his head because I normally only leave Ulta with 4 or 5 items.
Me: What jewelry do I wear every day?
C: Class ring, wedding ring, engagement ring and almost every day you wear the watch I bought you.
Me: What kind of watch was that?
C: Michael Kors in rose gold. Nailed it.
Me: What is your favorite trait about me, not physical?
C: Your sense of humor.
Me: What’s my favorite TV show?
C: That’s hard. Currently or like ever? Currently, I’d say Grey’s Anatomy. Ever would be Brothers & Sisters, definitely.
Me: Any thing else you’d like to say?
C: I wasn’t prepared to make a statement.
I really enjoyed interviewing Cory and giggled most of the way through it. He asked before we even started why I was laughing. I was just so excited to hear his answers! And I must admit, he knew more than I thought he would. I just knew the Hunter wellie question was going to get him but nope, he “nailed it”! He’s just too smart…he even corrected the way I said orchid. I sure do love this boy and so thankful he let me interview him!
