Five on Friday
Praise Jesus, it’s not just Friday but my last day before Christmas break. I feel like I say this every week but this week, well it’s been a doozie.
One of my least favorite parts of my job is that we are so busy right before the holidays but after today I get a full week to relax and enjoy everything Christmas. And I. can’t. wait.
ONE | Baby brother numero uno got home yesterday for Christmas break and numero dos will be here today! We spent yesterday evening catching up with John and I am blown away at how much he’s changed in two months. He left an immature 18 year old and came home as an 18 year old who actually bought his Mama’s lunch. I can’t wait to see Jordan tonight!
TWO | I’ve been craving Christmas movies and honestly been kind of disappointed with what’s been on TV. To satisfy my craving, I’ve had to resorted to the Hallmark channel and sadly, I think I’m hooked.
I’m really not picky and the cheesier the better!
THREE | I’ve added a few new pieces of Christmas decor to my home since my Christmas Home Tour and I’m loving my new chalkboard that the hubs threw together for me. Maybe a tutorial on this simple DIY soon??
FOUR | Speaking of new additions to my Christmas decorations, I got this hand painted sign from my very talented friend Tonya and just adore it! It feels good to be supporting her doing something she loves!
FIVE | My family knows me so well. I can’t tell you the excitement I felt when Einstein and Hampton got their own Christmas card in the mail! Makes my heart happy!

Please do a tutorial on the chalkboard… I’ve been trying to find pinterest things that explain it… I still can’t figure it out.

I’ve been watching all kinds of hallmark and lifetime christmas movies – all the cheese all the time. They are so bad and so good at the same time. haha. Love the chalkboard! Hooray for a week off! Enjoy it girl!

Aw, I’m so glad your little brothers are back for Christmas, he looks so nice in his uniform!
Those Hallmark movies are soo cheesy, you gotta love them! And Cory needs to start a side hustle designing chalkboards, he is amazing at it!
Love the Christmas card to your pups and I hope you have a great week off!

Andy Garcia and Mandy Moore is a weird combo, haha. I haven’t watched any Christmas movies, yet..what a grinch.

Love that the pups got their own Christmas card! And I agree with you — I feel like all of the TV stations are just playing Home Alone this year! While it’s one of my faves, I don’t need to watch it 18 times this month. I’ll have to start watching The Hallmark Channel — Nick is going to love that!
