Five on Friday
Happy Friday, y’all. Did this week feel extremely drawn out to anyone else? Since I did absolutely no blogging over the Thanksgiving weekend, I’ve had a couple late nights these week trying to get caught up and I’m feeling it this morning! Coffee on repeat, please.
ONE | Monday was Jessica’s birthday and I wanted to wish her a happy birthday! Jessica has been by my side since before we started kindergarten {trust me, it’s been a long time!} and we have been through it ALL together. She is the most caring, supporting, and loving friend and not to mention one heck of a mama to a precious two year old. She is the type of person that we all aspire to be–God poured His blessings on me when He brought us together!
TWO | While it was nice to get away for the holiday weekend, I was really excited to get home to my boys. We were a little concerned how Hampton would handle us leaving after Rwanda but he did great with Mamady {Cory’s mom}. She was always our go-to dog sitter before she moved to Alabama last year and they may adore her just as much as they do me. Hampton was a little standoffish when we first got home but it didn’t take him long to warm back up to us.
And even though he would never admit it, I’m pretty sure Daddy missed them too since this is what I saw when I crawled in bed Monday night.
THREE | After some frustration and a little bit of stress, I finally got my Christmas cards ordered thanks to help of my sweet husband, Amber and Jessica. It takes a team, sometimes. Here’s a little sneak peek for y’all!
FOUR | Since last fall, I’ve been on the hunt for a long tank top to wear with leggings. I’ve come across a few that were long on others but when your 5’8, it has to be extra long to cover the booty. All the tall gals out there {and even the not so tall} look no further because I hit the jackpot in tank tops for leggings! And the best part??? They’re only $5.95 at H&M!!!

FIVE | I skipped my Rwanda recap last Thursday because of Thanksgiving but it’s back in full swing this week. In case you missed, you can find it here. There were tons of cute kids and sweet giggles on day 7!
We’ve got a busy weekend ahead with a baby shower for some sweet friends of ours, trying to get the rest of our outside Christmas decorations up {y’all, we seriously have half of our roof decorated with icicle lights because we ran out. redneck, much?} and we will finish the weekend with community group on Sunday.
What are your plans this weekend??

Love the Christmas pictures of you and your hubby! I was a total slacker this year and didn’t get any done. And apparently so were a lot of people because I have yet to receive a single christmas card in the mail lol

Love love love your CHristmas card sneak peaks! Your tree looks gorgeous, too – Brady loves hanging out under ours, peeing and chewing on the tree skirt so it’s been interesting this year! Happy Friday :)
