It’s Fri-YAY, y’all! And boy, am I ready for it. You know how teachers say their kids have candy on their brain and it’s a full moon? Well, that doesn’t stop even in college.
So while I had hoped to have this post up sooner than the day before Halloween, it just didn’t happen.
Since our kitchen reno, I’ve yet to finish decorating the walls (like big open spaces that need to be filled asap) or even decide on the arrangement of our furniture (it’s a little awkward) but I did manage to get a few fall decorations up. I felt extremely overwhelmed returning from Rwanda and trying to get it all up so I kept it simple but I do love a home decorated for fall (see our Fall 2014 home here and our Fall 2013 home here) so today these are my Friday faves!
I’ve never been one to decorate much for Halloween but after seeing my bestie Jessica’s house, I’ve been itching for more spooky decor.
Maybe I’ll hit Hobby Lobby up on Monday?
You can see how I do all my chalkboards here.
I really didn’t change anything up on my mantle this year except the fact that our fireplace looks completely different this year.
I’m still in love with our fireplace makeover.
I painted my DIY Chevron Pumpkin a few years ago and it’s holding up great!
We finally found some barstools this past weekend and we are loving them! I think we’ve eaten every meal at the bar since we put them together.
Hope you enjoyed the few tidbits of our fall home! I hope y’all have safe and happy Halloween. I’ve never been one to really celebrate Halloween but you can find me passing out candy at our church’s trunk or treat tomorrow.
What is your plan for Halloween?
