Goodness…it’s been another full week of planning home renovations and I just thought things were getting real last Friday! We really didn’t have very much exciting happening this week, other than meeting with an insurance adjuster, our roofer and a floor guy. It’s exciting to us because they all told us exactly what we wanted to hear {and some even better!} but I’m sure it’s a bore to everyone else. Whew…what a week! It’s been an incredibly busy one but so productive for the Sloans. We’ve had appointments for the cabinets, flooring, roofing and with a painter {for the outside}. Oh  hey, Friday! My days are all messed up this week with the snow day we had yesterday. All day I thought it was Monday which makes the fact that today is indeed Friday even better! Happy cold, cold Friday, my friends! It’s a chilly 14 degrees here in SC today and everybody’s all “I’m so ready for summer.” C’mon, y’all…this is really the first bout of cold weather we’ve had.
