Family Photos: Baker is (almost) 2!

Since Baker will be two the beginning of next month (how is this even possible???), we were due for updated family pictures. The last professional ones we had of her were her one year old pictures and we haven’t had family pictures done since her first Christmas. We used our trusty, go-to photographer, Chase Todd. He’s done all of Baker’s photos, and he absolutely blew these out of the water. He does some of the best work in our area and is so patient with our very dramatic, temperamental two year old. If you live in Upstate SC, I highly recommend using Chase for all of your photography needs.

Spring Break Trip to the NC Zoo

Over Spring Break, Cory and I took Baker on a short trip to Asheboro to visit the NC Zoo. We left after Cory got off work on Thursday evening and got to Asheboro late that night. If you follow me on Instagram, you may remember that when we got to the hotel, it was after midnight and the first room they put us was occupied. 😳 Yep, we walked straight in to a room with people sleeping in it! Lock your hotel doors, people!

Pretty much the whole first day, he kept his face scrunched like this. He wasn’t crying. Just had a permanent old man face. Tator finally getting to hold her baby brother. Gracie’s face, y’all {the only reason I included this blurry picture}. She was SO excited. Gracie doesn’t remember Taylor being a baby {they are only three years…

    Basic Training Graduation

Do you ever have those days that are just so good that you wish you could just freeze them in time and play them over and over again? That’s exactly how last Wednesday and Thursday were for me. If you follow on Insta or Facebook, you probably already know that Cory and I were in Fort Jackson for basic training graduation. Because both brothers were in basic training simultaneously {at two different bases, in two different states}, my family had to tag team the two-day event. So Cory and I drove down early Wednesday morning for Family Day with Jordan while my parents came down Wednesday night, attended Jordan’s ceremony…
