Cory
Happy Anniversary, my love!
Today, Cory and I are celebrating our 4th anniversary. I can hardly believe it’s been four years since my dad walked me down that aisle and I said “I do” to Cory. In some ways, it feels like an eternity ago because so much has happened the past four years but at times, I feel like I blinked and the time has passed. We’ve definitely had our moments but I’m so grateful to be able to say that we’ve had an “easy” marriage (Cory may have a different story). After getting married, not much changed except the fact that we lived together and I count that as a blessing. I…
Interview with the Mr.
After seeing this little interview on a few of my favorite blogs (Katie Elizabeth, The Modern Tulip, Life Could Be a Dream), I decided I had to interview my sweet husband, Cory. I bugged him all weekend and finally had a chance to sit down with him last night for his first interview (but not his first appearance) on Reasons to Come Home! Me: What is the name of my blog? C: Reasons to Come Home Me: What do I typically write about? C: The dogs. The dogs and whatever we’ve been up to. And sometimes a link up. And you do a Five on Friday every Friday. Me: What’s…

Bad idea. Cory had just come off night shift and hadn’t had a day off in ten days and our “weekend” projects almost always take two full weeks but like always, he obliged. We didn’t stop for three straight days {four for him} but of course didn’t finish. After a stressful two weeks and two big blow out fights consisting of him telling me I knew nothing about table…
10 Things I Love About My Husband
Three years ago today, I was getting ready to say “I do” to my best friend and partner in life. I often wonder why I was blessed with such a loving, caring, man of God who strives every day to make me happy. I am so thankful to have a husband that works hard to provide for his family-financially and spiritually. Thinking back to this day three years ago, I never imagined that I could love Cory more but our love has changed in the best ways possible and continues to grow each and every day. Being our anniversary and all, I figured there’s no better day to share 10…
