It’s who I am. Who are you?
One thing I’ve noticed during my short time blogging, is compared to others, I’m an awful wife. It’s so easy to compare yourself to others and forget that most people only put the “good” up on their blogs. I’m guilty of it. But in reality I’m not like that at all. Does it make me worse of a wife that I’m not up at 4:30 am every day and going to the gym three times a week? Or managing a full time job, able to keep a clean house and prepare dinner every night? I’m not a band wagon fan but…
Sometimes I wish I was. If you aren’t a fan of football, you might want stop reading now because this post is about the disappointment of being a fan. In my case, it’s Clemson football. At the end of last season, Clemson was the underdog in the Chick-fil-a Bowl against LSU and we won. The win was big for us. Really big. We started off this season playing 5th ranked Georgia and we won. Again, the win was big. Last night we faced Florida State for another big game. Going into the game, Clemson was ranked 3rd and FSU was 5th so it was bound to be a good match up.…
Fear
Whew…I’m exhausted. I’ve been running like a mad lady all weekend, which is no different than the past couple weekends that I mentioned here and here. Saturday we spent the entire day in Clemson tailgating and watching the game. It was so hot. I wasn’t expecting it to be in the mid-80’s in the middle of October. It felt good under our tent with the fans going but was a little miserable once we got in the game, sitting directly in the sun. Plus, Clemson didn’t play so well the first 3 quarters.
