A Baby Shower For Our Little Hot Pie
Before I recap our shower a few weeks ago, I need to do a little housekeeping. Apparently, I haven’t been receiving all the comment emails from my posts and didn’t realize how many comments I had missed until yesterday. I try and respond to each comment by email and if you haven’t heard back, it’s probably because I never received an email and I never actually check the comments on my WordPress dashboard. I’m trying to get it sorted out and I do apologize!
Now….on to our very special baby shower for our little Hot Pie!
It’s been a few weekends ago, but my Mom’s side of the family hosted us a lovely shower!
Instead of a cake, my aunt had all kinds of yummy little hot pies.
We got all kinds of goodies for little Miss including her pack-n-play, bassinet, rock-n-play, and her swing!
And my Aunt got these sweet little finger puppets just for Cory! They are from Ten Thousand Villages, which is a non-profit Fair Trade Retailer located in Downtown Greenville and their mission is to provide vital, fair income to people in developing countries by selling their handicrafts and telling their stories in North America. I know they have stores all over the US, so you should definitely check out their website and all their awesome products!
My grandmother lives about 5 hours away, so I don’t get to see her as often as I’d like, but I love that she was there to celebrate with us!
My Aunt the hostess, my mom, and I!
And of course, my baby daddy :)
We had such a nice day, laughing with some of my many cousins, and just being together! Hot Pie is so lucky to have each of these women in her life!
I’ve already had another shower thrown by my best friend this past weekend and hope you’ll check back soon to see all the precious details from it!

Paige!!! That is the cutest theme. I’m sitting here laughing at the thought of what my shower would have been if my coworkers had used my nickname for Reagan- Little Bit. That would have been terrible. A little bit of nothing comes to mind when I imagine the food, lol. I LOVE how thoughtful your family is. Little hot pies- TOO cute!!! I’m so glad y’all had so much fun and your gifts look amazing. I love seeing all of these pictures!

That’s hilarious! It seems to be a common theme at all my showers. I don’t know how we are gonna get people to call her by her real name when she gets here!

Yippee for all the celebrations for Hot Pie.
So your grandma becomes a GREAT grandma – how exciting.
Those finger puppets are precious. I’m sure daddy will put them to good use with wonderful stories :)

Do you know where that bassinet is from? I’ve been looking into them and that one is adorable!

It either came from Target or Buy Buy Baby.
