Weekending
Happy Tuesday, y’all! For the first time in months, I’m getting a weekend recap up. So what that it’s still a day late?!
After months of working on our kitchen and raising money for Rwanda, we took Saturday off to enjoy a day at the lake with some of our favorites.
It was a perfect day! It’s amazing what a little vitamin D will do for the spirit.
Supplies, supplies and more supplies in the background were left at home to still be packed. We have been so blessed by the outpour of donations to take with us!
How did I get so lucky? He’s a man of many talents.
After having visitors all day, coming by to help us finish packing the supplies, bring us supper and pray over us, we got Cory all packed up and it was time for him to say his “See you in a month. Please don’t run away on Mom.” goodbyes to the babies.
Unloading 200lbs of supplies at 2:30am and we don’t even get to leave yet???
After a couple blurry photos of some very tired missionaries, we said our goodbyes to the first group of Muzungus heading to Rwanda.
And the first picture I get from Cory included his new friend :).
As for me? I’m living it up being a bachelorette. Last night included a trip to Aldi to get coffee creamer and tonight, I think I’ll take the trash to the curb! #whitegirlsgocrazy
